My name is Hazel Holmes. I currently work as a Children's Book Buyer for a leading library supplier, and previously worked for Borders UK as a Children's Specialist.
I get sent a lot of proofs to read as part of my job and often don't get chance to review them all at work, so I've decided to start this blog and post them on here.
After having a baby boy in 2012 and going back to work, it’s taken me a while to get back into the swing of things. I finally have my focus back so there’ll be many more reviews and information about local events coming in the near future.
I’m still predominantly focused on YA, but naturally my interests have widened to books for 0-5 years. There are some fantastic picture books coming this Spring/Summer so watch out for features on here.
